How do I set the Time Off Notice Period?
Control how far in advance employees can request time off.
Overview
The Time Off Notice Period setting determines the maximum number of days in the future that employees can request time off.
This helps you control how far ahead employees can submit requests, ensuring better visibility and planning for upcoming schedules.
How to Update This Setting

From the Shifty WebApp, select the dropdown menu for your location in the top left of the navigation pane

Select Account

Select Manage for your location

Select Settings in the left sub-navigation

Locate Time Off Notice Period

Enter the maximum number of days in advance employees can request time off

Click Save
Things to Know

This setting limits how far into the future time off requests can be submitted

Employees will not be able to request time off beyond the number of days entered

Lower values provide more control over scheduling, while higher values allow for more flexibility
Example
If you set the Time Off Notice Period to 30 days, employees can only request time off up to 30 days in advance.
