How do I see who has acknowledged an announcement?

Overview

Announcement activity in Shifty allows managers and admins to see how employees are engaging with an announcement. Announcements are sent in deliveries, and each delivery contains its own activity details.

Within a delivery, managers can see when the announcement was sent, how many employees have acknowledged it, who has or has not responded, and any survey or poll results included with the announcement.

This helps managers confirm that important information has been received and understand employee responses when feedback is requested.

How to View Announcement Activity

1. Open the Shifty web app.
2. Select Announcements.
3. Find the announcement you want to review.
4. Open the announcement.
5. Select the Activity section.
6. Choose a specific delivery of the announcement.
7. Review the delivery details.

How to View Acknowledgment and Results Overview

1. Open a delivery under the Activity section.
2. Select the Overview tab.
3. Review the acknowledgment summary.
4. Review the survey responses or poll results.

The Overview tab shows how many employees have acknowledged the announcement and provides a summary of survey and poll results.

How to See Who Has or Has Not Responded

1. Open a delivery under the Activity section.
2. Select the Users tab.
3. Review which employees have acknowledged the announcement.
4. Review which employees have not acknowledged the announcement.

How to View Individual Survey and Poll Responses

1. Open a delivery under the Activity section.
2. Select the Users tab.
3. Select an individual employee.
4. Review their survey answers or poll responses.

Anonymous and Non-Anonymous Survey Responses

If a survey is anonymous, responses are not tied to a specific employee.

If a survey is not anonymous, managers and admins can view which employee submitted specific answers.

Things to Know

• Announcement activity is viewed in the Shifty web app.
• Announcements are sent in deliveries, and activity is tracked per delivery.
• You must select a specific delivery under Activity to view details.
• The Overview tab shows acknowledgment summaries and survey or poll results.
• The Users tab shows which employees have or have not acknowledged the announcement.
• The Users tab also shows individual survey or poll responses when available.
• Poll results show how employees voted.
• Anonymous surveys do not show individual employee identities with responses.
• Non-anonymous surveys allow individual responses to be reviewed.

Example

A manager sends an announcement with a survey and poll. After employees begin responding, the manager opens the announcement in the web app, selects the Activity section, chooses a specific delivery, reviews the acknowledgment summary and results in the Overview tab, and then checks the Users tab to see who has responded and review individual answers.
