How do I enable Shifty notifications on my mobile device?

Turn on all Shifty notifications in your iOS or Android device settings.

Overview

Shifty notifications help users stay informed about relevant activity in the mobile app. Notifications must be permitted through the device’s operating system before they can appear.

The available notification settings and navigation may vary depending on the device model and operating system version.

How to enable notifications on iOS

  1. Open the Settings app on your iPhone or iPad.
  2. Tap Notifications.
  3. Select Shifty from the list of apps.
  4. Turn on Allow Notifications.
  5. Enable the available alert options, including:
    • Lock Screen
    • Notification Center
    • Banners
    • Sounds
    • Badges

Shifty can now send notifications to the device.

How to enable notifications on Android

  1. Open the device’s Settings app.
  2. Tap Notifications.
  3. Tap App notifications.
  4. Select Shifty from the list of apps.
  5. Turn on Shifty notifications.
  6. Enable all available notification categories.

Android navigation may vary by device manufacturer. If Shifty does not appear using the path above, open Settings, select Apps, select Shifty, and then open Notifications.

Troubleshooting

Shifty does not appear in the notification settings

Open the Shifty app and respond to any notification permission prompt that appears. If Shifty still does not appear, confirm that the app is installed and updated.

Notifications are enabled but do not appear

Check whether Focus, Do Not Disturb, Battery Saver, or another device setting is limiting notifications. Also confirm that the individual alert types or notification categories for Shifty are enabled.
